The No-Sew Baby Blanket

No Sew Fleece Baby Blanket

This is the easiest and warmest baby blanket you can make. All you need is polar fleece fabric and a sharp pair of scissors. No sewing necessary.

You will need:

Two 1/12 yard pieces of polar fleece fabric (or whatever size you wish to make)

Directions:

Cut two rectangles of polar fleece 4-5 inches larger than the finished blanket size.

Place fabric on top of each other with right sides facing out.

Using a ruler to make sure your cuts are even, use sharp scissors to cut 4-5 inch deep fringe around the outer edges of fabric. I usually space the cuts 1/2 inch apart.

Now all you have to do is tie a double knot in the fabric fringes tying the two layers together. The result will be a double layered fleece blanket with a frilly edge.
